Dataset description

Data on the junctions, rescue points and shelters in the Aachen Forest; In 2015, the city of Aachen established an innovative intersection system for walks and hikes in the Aachen Forest. Numbered nodes at 90 locations make it easier for walkers to plan hiking routes and orientation in the Aachen Forest. In the Aachen Forest, a system of rescue points was created that increases the safety in the forest. At 37 striking points in the Aachen Forest, green-white signs with an alternative telephone number are placed under which you will be directly connected to the control centre in Aachen.
