HK 100 — Hydrogeological Map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 100.000

This book [HK 100] was started in the 70s of the 20th century and did not continue after the publication of the four existing sheets in favor of HK 50. The map shows the aquifers and non-conductors according to petrographic composition and stratigraphic mapping. In addition, information on groundwater and water management as well as artificial spills and excavations are included. Overview maps show the chemical character of the groundwater and the groundwater abstraction points. In the detailed explanation, an overview of geography, geology and hydrogeology reveals groundwater deposits, their potential uses and their chemical properties. The new groundwater formation, water use, geopotentials and the font directory are the content of further chapters.
