HÜK 200 - Hydrogeologische Karte 1 : 200.000

The digital map works HÜK 200 gives a nationwide overview of hydrogeological conditions. It is a joint project of the State Geological Services (SGD) led by the Federal Institute for Geo-Sciences and Raw Materials (BGR). The map is based on the Geological overview map 1: BGR 200.000 (BÜK200) (in NRW on geological map 1: 100.000). The map shows the surface aquifer. It is assessed in terms, inter alia, of its permeability, its geo-chemical type and the nature of the cavity. The map will be developed as part of the work on the EU WFD (European Water Framework Directive). On a total of 55 leaf sections, the map provides an overview of the hydrogeological properties of the upper aquifer in Germany.
