The Hydrogeological Map of Bavaria 1:500,000 (HK500) provides an overview of hydrogeology in Bavaria and addresses all those interested in the topic of regional groundwater conditions in Bavaria. It gives an overview of the hydrogeological properties of the rocks, their groundwater management and dynamics, as well as the formation of groundwater from precipitation in a long-term means.
