Dataset description
The Hydrogeological Maps Service of the State of Brandenburg includes the Hydrogeological Map 1: 50 000 (HYK50), environmental geological map 1: 300 000 (UGK300) as well as the artesian-stressed groundwater deposits in Brandenburg. The HYK50 is under constant processing and currently covers about 60 % of the country’s area. It is divided into: the map of near-surface hydrogeology (HYK50-1), the map of the largely covered groundwater complex (HYK502) and the map of the protection function of groundwater cover (HYK50-3).
