Inspire BW Distribution of Types of Chicken Spreading

Inspire data set of porridge spreading in Baden-Württemberg. The distribution map shows the latest state of Auerhuhn monitoring. Distribution maps for the Black Forest have been produced since 1993, when a continuous documentation of all sightings and indications of the presence of chickens was started. A new distribution map with the evidence collected during this period will be drawn up in a five-year cycle. The area for which at least three evidence has been obtained within the last five years shall be defined as the area for which a caper chicken spread area is defined. The filled 3 x 3 km grid cells are based on indications of various types (sighting, annual court counting, feces, feathers, hudder pans, tread seals). For reasons of the sensitivity of the bird species, the distribution is only published with a resolution of 3 x 3 km. The evidence comes from the FVA and is based on own investigations as well as reports from hunters, foresters, forest workers, ornithologists and conservationists.
