Dataset description

The service covers the territory of the State Forest of Baden-Württemberg. In order to ensure sustainable forest management, the so-called forest facility is subject to a state registration every 10 years, a control of forest management and a medium-term planning based on this. The objectives underlying the planning are the outflow of ForstBW’s strategic sustainability management and thus take environmental, social and economic aspects into account. The geothema provides comprehensive information on forest status and planning from the forest facility as well as operational implementation for the state forest.
