Dataset description

The interoperable INSPIRE dataset contains the legally effective lignite plan Cottbus-Nord in Brandenburg (Legal Decree of 18.07.2006), presented in the INSPIRE scheme PlannedLandUse. It provides an overview of the mining area, the safety zone and the land use of the mining landscape. According to the INSPIRE data specification Land Use (D2.8.III.4), the contents of the plan are INSPIRE compliant. The record is provided via an interoperable display and download service. — The compliant INSPIRE data set contains data about the lignite mining plan Cottbus-North of Brandenburg (Cottbus-North open-cast mine, statutory ordinance of 18.07.2006), visualised in the INSPIRE annex schema PlannedLandUse. The Plan provides an overview of mining areas, safety zones and land uses of the post-mining landscape. The data set is provided via compliant view and download services.
