Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): The database shows the location and spatial expansion of the Saarland bird sanctuaries in accordance with the EU Birds Directive (of 2 April 1979, 79/409/EEC). These bird protection areas are sites of Community importance (EU) notified for the protection of birds in accordance with the Birds Directive for the NATURA 2000 network. Data base: Saarland bird sanctuary report from 2000 to 2006. Saarland Nature Conservation Act.
