Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): The Saaralt Arms are the only semi-natural larger stillwaters of the Saarland that have been created in the course of straightenings of the Saar or the Saar expansion. Basically, the Saaraltarms should be developed and refurbished close to nature. The Saaralt arms are presented in the landscape program as a development focus for species and biotope protection. For old arms close to compaction space, attention must be paid to the integration of local recreation. s.
