Inspire — IS RK 50 FG DS — Information System Raw Materials Map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 50 000 (fixed rock) — dataset

This data set contains the data prepared for INSPIRE on the information system raw material map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 50,000 (IS RK 50 FG). The Resource Map Information System 1: 50,000 solid rocks represent the spread and near-surface occurrences of the non-energy raw materials of the solid rock in North Rhine-Westphalia. The data set contains the distribution of solid rock raw material groups carbonate rock, sandstone, claystone and vulcanite. The raw material groups and raw material names of the original dataset have been mapped to the following commodities in accordance with the INSPIRE data model: — basalt — brickClay — clay — dimensionStone — kaolin — limestone — pumice — sandstone — slate. In turn, the raw material groups are further differentiated by age.
