Dataset description

The presentation service provides data on the distribution, depth and temperature distribution of low-lying aquifers as well as the regional temperature between 2000 and 5 000 m depth, the total heat content between 1000 and 5 000 m depth and the terrestrial thermal current density in the deeper underground of the Free State of Thuringia. The data were prepared in terms of content and technology for the INSPIRE Annex III topic of energy sources in the Geological State Service of the Thuringian State Office for the Environment, Mining and Nature Conservation. The presentation service is provided via the central platform Geoproxy of the GDI-Th. For technical and legal questions, please contact the contact persons mentioned in the metadata.
