Dataset description

The interoprable INSPIRE-View Service (WMS) provides an overview of the large combustion and waste incineration plants (GFA) operated in Brandenburg. The database contains point data on plant sites, plants and plant components. Data source is the system information system “LIS-A”. According to the INSPIRE data specification “Production and Industrial Facilities” (D2.8.III.8_v3.0), the contents of the large combustion plants are INSPIRE-compliant. The WMS includes 3 layers: — “ProductionFacility” (establishment) — “ProductionInstallation” (installation) — “ProductionInstallationPart” (installation part) In accordance with INSPIRE specifications, the ProductionFacility layer is divided into: — PF.MiningAndQuarrying: Mining and quarrying of rocks and earths (NACE category “B”) — PF.Manufacturing: Manufacturing/manufacturing of goods (NACE category “C”) — PF.ElectricityGasSteamAndAirConditioningSupply: Energy supply (NACE category “D”) — PF.WaterSupplySewageWasteManagementAndRemediationActivities: Water supply, sewage and Waste management and pollution management (NACE category “E”) — PF.OtherServiceActivities: Provision of other services (NACE category “S”)
