Dataset description

This WMS provides the information system of the hydrogeological overview species of North Rhine-Westphalia 1: 500 000 (IS HÜK 500). The map gives a general overview of the distribution of groundwater deposits in North Rhine-Westphalia. It shows the following, practice-oriented evaluation cards: Yield of the aquifers, predominant rock types, protective function of the top layers, occurrences of mineral and healing springs as well as division into hydrogeological subspaces.
