Dataset description
The information system includes qualitative and quantitative data on deposits and occurrences of non-energy near-surface raw materials in North Rhine-Westphalia on a processing scale 1:100000. Regionally defined settlement areas are spared. In the past, the information system was also managed under the name Map of near-surface non-energy raw materials in North Rhine-Westphalia (LK100 dig). The information system is also available on CDROM. A dataset includes: Distribution of 24 types of raw materials, superposition of near-surface raw materials, occurrences throughout their geological distribution, economically significant deposit areas differentiation by width (kibbles and sand), point data (among others thickness).
