Karte der Verbreitung oberflächennaher Karbonatvorkommen (Kalke, Dolomite und Marmore), die normalerweise im Tagebau, in Sachsen aber auch untertägig, abgebaut werden. In Sachsen wurden bis vor wenigen Jahren z. B. die Dolomit- und Kalzitmarmore in Hermsdorf und Lengefeld im Tiefbau gewonnen. Derzeit - Stand 2016 - ist die untertägige Marmorgewinnung auf den Abbau bei Hammerunterwiesenthal konzentriert. eine übertägige Gewinnung am gleichen Ort ist in Vorbereitung Attributwerte lassen eine Gliederung nach dem Erkundungsgrad in vermutet, gefolgert und erkundet zu.
