Land Use HQExtrem Saarland

The HQExtrem flood risk map represents the land use of flooded areas at events that can occur much less frequently than every 100 years by statistical means. The following usage classes were distinguished: Class 1: Residential areas, mixed use areas (red); Class 2: agricultural land, forest, forest (yellow); Class 3: other vegetation and open spaces (green); Class 4: Industrial and commercial premises, with functional embossing (magenta); Class 5: Traffic areas (grey); Class 6: Areas of water (blue); In the case of dike-protected areas, the number 10 has been entered in the field of protection, so that classes 11 to 16 for the protected areas are obtained according to the order above. These are depicted with the same color, but not flat, but scraped. The classification was carried out by summaries from the ATKIS types by type of economic activity according to the requirements of the LAWA Draft of 25/26.03.2010 Dresden "Recommendations for the establishment of flood hazard maps and flood risk maps.
