To the 11st. On behalf of the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), the ZKI of DLR is presenting possibilities for the use of different sensors for situational image support. On 28 and 29 June, both terrestrial and further sensing-based data and information will be collected and visualised in near real-time as part of a sensor network system. The aim of this study is to evaluate the extent to which, for example, in large-scale events, the joint use of different sensor systems and recording platforms can support situational images as well as decision support for crisis staff and emergency forces. The aerial data were recorded at a height of about 1700 meters above ground (flight strip 1-2). This product was created within the framework contract “ZKI-DE” between the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
