Für die Risikoabschätzung der Hochwasserrisikomanagement-Richtlinie (HWRM-RL) wurde die Landnutzung des Digitalen Landschaftsmodells (Basis-DLM) Niedersachsen der LGLN in sechs Klassen reklassifiziert. In den Hochwasserrisikokarten werden diese Daten im Bereich der Risikogebiete dargestellt. Je nach Szenario (H - häufiges, M - mittleres oder L - seltenes Ereignis) ergeben sich unterschiedliche Ausdehnungen und Risiken.Die Neuklassifizierung enthält folgende Zusammenfassungen:- Wohnbauflächen, Flächen gemischter Nutzung- Industrie- und Gewerbeflächen; Flächen mit funktionaler Prägung- Verkehrsflächen- Landwirtschaftlich genutzte Flächen; Wald, Forst- Sonstige Vegetations- und Freiflächen- Gewässer
