The landscape plan shows objectives and measures for the development of nature and landscape for about ten to fifteen years (Decision 10/2013). The landscape plan is the ecological basis for construction management planning and specialist planning. It contains key information and objectives relevant to the planned area, including nature conservation and landscape conservation. The comprehensive landscape plan was adopted following a multi-annual procedure in 2013. It replaces the first landscape plan of 1998. A Strategic Environmental Assessment was carried out for the landscape plan. For the individual protected goods soil, water, climate/air, species and biotopes as well as recreation and landscape, there are target concepts. The landscape plan contains integrated landscape spatial models and assesses the environmental compatibility of structural developments of the land use plan as shown in the FNP. The map of the protected areas is updated on an ongoing basis. In-depth planning modules have been set up on technical topics such as compensation for nature conservation law, biodiversity, urban climate and recreation. The main map of the LSP, the Integrated Development Concept, can be viewed on the Internet, it can be found in the Leipzig city map under topic changes.
