Dataset description

An important goal of soil protection is to ensure soil diversity and thus, in particular, to protect rarely occurring soils. Rare soil types in Saarland include small-area soils spread over flight sands, soils on base-rich and low volcanicite rocks (Andesite, Melaphyr, Rhyolith, Phyllite), as well as the Taunus quarzite/dines slate and extreme wet soils such as low moor soils and Gleye. s.
