The Map Service (WMS Group) presents the spatial data from the Saarland landscape program as the theme map Cultural Landscape, Restoration Preparation, Free Space Development.:Industrial settlements received their primary impact by production facilities with their specific industrial architecture as well as the accompanying transport infrastructure (roads, railways, lines). Secondary and often more lasting imprint was the directly or indirectly designed living and leisure environment for employees and their families. There was a direct connection to the nearby workplaces. The outstanding examples from a supra-local point of view are presented in the landscape programme, see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 7.4.
