From a local point of view, the landscape program provides indications in which areas are mainly ponds located in the main closure of flowing waters. From the point of view of nature conservation, the ponds are to be moved to the adjoining area and to contribute to the natural design of the ponds. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 5.7.
