Information on large combustion plants of the reported sites in 2021.
The 13rd BImSchV regulates requirements for the so-called large combustion plants. These installations are subject to measurement obligations and reporting obligations towards the European Union. Due to the scope of EU Directive 2001/80/EC, for example, large combustion plants from sugar factories and the chemical industry are excluded from these reporting obligations. Large combustion plants, which also contain waste, are subject to other reporting obligations, so that they are not taken into account here.
This interactive map depicts the large combustion plants recorded in Lower Saxony within the area of competence of the Trade Inspectorate and the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology, which fall within the scope of the 13. BImSchV.
By clicking on the individual locations, you will receive detailed information about the attachments. The information sheet of the respective large combustion plant can be found by the operator, such as the operator of the plant, the use of energy and emissions to SOx, NOx and dust, as well as the competent immission protection authority.
In the information sheet you will also find a diagram showing the annual emissions to be reported and the total energy use of the last four years. The data is updated annually.
