Leader is a European Union support measure for rural development. The programme provides structural support for rural areas and is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The aim of the support is to support independent and sustainable regional development. The data set represents the LEADER regions in North Rhine-Westphalia during the EU funding period 2007-2013.
