LGRB-BW BFS Soil Clinical Humidity Level

The soil-based moisture level is an integral size to describe the soil water balance of a site. It is derived on the basis of soil, soil hydrological, geomorphological and climatic criteria. The derivation process does not take into account pointer plants or plant societies and is therefore also applicable to arable land or in intensively used grassland. The characterisation of the water-to-air household of a site via the species composition of its plant society takes place with the ecological moisture level. In Baden-Württemberg identical terms are used for forest site mapping and agroecological location studies. Since the regional climate is taken into account differently, they do not always agree. In warm and/or low precipitation areas, sites are classified according to the agroecological method in a more dry trend and, on the other hand, those in areas rich in precipitation are more humid than according to the forest method. The soil-based moisture level, in addition to heat supply and slope inclination, is a basis for describing growing conditions for natural and natural vegetation and for agricultural and forestry crops. The display in the dataset takes place in a 50 m grid.
