LGRB-BW ROHV: Near-surface mineral raw materials

This map is a nationally unified representation of three different raw material geological maps of the LGRB. The breakdown by commodity group is based on the map of the mineral raw materials of Baden-Württemberg (KMR50), the latest published map. This card is continuously updated with the update of the KMR50. Gravel and sands (yellow colors) occur mainly in the Oberrheingraben and in the Alpine foreland, limestone deposits (blue colors) in the mussel lime landscape and on the Swabian Alb, brick raw materials (red colors) especially in the Albvorland and Kraichgau and base mountain rocks (violet colors) in the Black Forest and Odenwald. Shown are proven and predicted occurrences as well as their possible (main) use, the attributes include information on the potential, the certainty of statements and the thickness.
