As part of the project “storage catasters” led by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials, the LGRB created potential maps of storage and barrier rocks in the Baden-Württemberg part of the Molasse Basin on the basis of available geological data and uniform evaluation criteria. The map shows the storage potential of the rocks of the well-stored lime to cement mergel formation based on the depth and thickness of the rocks, as well as document points and disturbances (https://media.lgrb-bw.de/link/spk/spk_skmol_4.pdf).
