Dataset description

The INSPIRE View Service provides the maps of the median grades (median values/P50) in the a) upper soil (OB) and in the b) underground (UG) for some selected environmental elements. The basis is the analytical data for approximately 2000 soil profiles absorbed and irregularly distributed across the territory according to the Soil History Carting Instructions (KA 5) — royal water soluble content in dry matter fine soil (less 2 mm) for arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn); Total mercury content (Hg). The content presented was for scale 1: 300,000 created and are larger for representations in scales 1: 100,000 are not suitable. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map assigned to the grades corresponding to the median for the dominant land forms involved. The salary classes, each for OB and UG uniform card legends, depend on the range of all values for the element in question. The legend units have been colored in such a way that the levels of green over yellow to brown increase. Since there are few and highly scattering values for the anthropogenic soils, settlement areas were attributed with “no data” (grey). The map representations are supplemented by a tabular overview of the average grades used and their color design.
