Model and scenario based maps for soil erosion and soil deposition

Grid-related (10 m resolution) and scenario-based results of simulations with the EROSION 3D model for soil erosion and deposition rates in kg/m², for cumulative outflows in m³/m and for the cumulative mass of sediment transported by drainage in kg/m from (1) areas of different uses in Saxony and (2) Saxon arable land at certain precipitation events and farming forms. The basis for the calculations is the Saxon field block reference of 2017. The model calculations for the Saxon arable land refer to site-related precipitation events with a recurrence interval (T) of (1) 10 and (2) 50 years under the tillage or management scenarios (1) Seedbed, conventional tillage, (2) Seedbed, conservative tillage, (3) Seedbed, conserving tillage with tarmac grassland, (4) Seedbed, conservative soil cultivation with green strips near water and (5) grassland.
