The KBK25 is a work card that is based on an evaluation of existing documents, without or only with a pro rata check in the terrain.
It is not equated with an official floor map!
The KBK25 is the soil geological work map of the Geological Service M-V. Changes and updates are constantly updated.
From 1996 to 2006, the card was handed out (1: 25 000) in analog form by a total of 10 in- and external processors with sometimes different recording intensity.
The digitisation and production of leaf cutting freedom was carried out centrally by the LUNG M-V.

As input data were the class area maps of the soil estimation, the geological map 1: 25 000 (GK25), the overview map Quaternary 1: 200000 (ÜKQ200) used the Forestry Location Map and the Moor Location Catalogue M-V. As a topographical basis, the topographic map 1: 25 000 (normal edition).
The map of the Moorbodenform societies is an excerpt from the KBK25 and follows nomenclatorically the ground carving instructions, 5th edition (KA5).
The numbering of the legend units corresponds to the respective update status of the country legend of the KBK25.
