Ordinance of the district of Göttingen, as well as statutes of individual municipalities.
All individual creations of nature or areas up to 5 hectares in the district, which are to be preserved due to their rarity, peculiarity or beauty.
The following natural monuments have been identified:
“Linden group on the mesh”; “Eibenwald”; “Forest botanical garden”; ‘Fuchshall quarry’; «Frankenberg-Höhle near Bad Grund (Harz); “Moostierchenriff near Bartolfelde”; “Westersteine”; “Diabas digestion at the Huttal balance”; “School mountain cliffs near Scharzfeld”; “Römerstein near Nüxei”; ‘Copper slate digestion at Walkenried’; “Lonau waterfall in Herzberg am Herz”; “White stone/Hellenberg”; “Gipsfelsen an der Pipinsburg near Osterode am Harz”; “Priesterstein with cave near Neuhof”; “Hübichenstein near Bad Grund (Harz)”; “Seal lip”; “Monk cap cliff”; “The stump stone”; “Geological digestion at the farmstead Allershausen in Gittelde”; ‘Traffic wood shrinkage’; “Small trough stone decline at Tettenborn Colony”; Earthquakes at the Moosberg near Ührde’; “Earthfall under the Dog Mountain in Bartolfelde”.
