Dataset description
The metadata set describes all legally determined individual creations of nature or corresponding areas up to five hectares, the special protection of which is required
1.
for scientific, natural or regional reasons; or
2.
because of their rarity, peculiarity or beauty. (Section 28(1) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act).
Currently, they are in the Lkr. North Axis 102 areas with a total area of approximately 2.25 square kilometres.
The data are historically obtained from the Leipzig State Environmental Office, the districts of Delitzsch and Torgau-Oschatz.
Responsible for the revision/expulsion is the Landratsamt Nordsachsen as the Lower Nature Conservation Authority.
