Dataset description
The spatial data set includes the noise mapping of the road network for the urban area of Freiburg im Breisgau from 2012 at day and night times. The spatial data for noise mapping are transmitted in Baden-Württemberg by the cities and municipalities to the State Agency for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation (LUBW) for central transmission to the Federal Environment Agency (UBA). The UBA in turn forwards the data to the European Commission as part of the implementation of the EU Environmental Noise Directive.
