Dataset description
The data set covers all non-wood floor areas in the state forest of the Free State of Saxony. Non-wood floors are the non-tree-stocked parts of the forest area. They are not directly used for the production of wood, but are necessary for the beneficial, protective and recreational functions of the forest. (Buildings, courtyards, forest roads, storage areas, planting gardens, etc.) For each non-wood floor area, property type, forestry company number, forest part, department, subdivision, sub-area and stock as well as forest district and area are indicated. The data are part of the basic forest data/forest base map and are at the same time the basis for the collection/running of all basic forest data as well as the derived other map types in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
