Since 1994, data on the development of bites and peeling have been collected in the Free State of Thuringia on a three-year cycle throughout all forms of forest ownership. These data form a basis for the forestry report, which is drawn up in accordance with Section 32(1) of the Thuringian Hunting Act (THJG) by the lower forestry authority as a technical contribution to the three-year planning of the red, dam, muffle and deer game and is forwarded to the lower hunting authorities. The Lower Forestry Authority assesses the inventory data collected on a region-by-country basis and includes further information in the preparation of the forestry report on the planning of the shooting. These indications may include the development of rejuvenation on damaged areas, the wild-related statements from forest protection reporting over the last two years and the development of rejuvenation in fenced areas. These technical contributions drawn up by the Forestry Authority shall be taken into account by the Lower Hunting Authorities when confirming the shooting plans within the meaning of Section 32(1) of the Thuringian Hunting Act.
