Dataset description

As part of the EU Interreg Alpine-Space project PermaNET, the probability of permafrost occurring in the Bavarian Alps was modelled in 2011. Thus, about 65 km² of permafrost exists in the underground of the Bavarian Alps. The probability of occurrence is divided into “low probable”, “moderate probable” and “probable”.
