Dataset description

The Web Feature Service provides the postcode areas of the states of Berlin and Brandenburg. It contains accurate geometries of the postal code regions as border polygons and the postcodes as text. The basis of the border representation is the basic DLM. The postal information was created on the basis of the postcode book of October 2005 and has since been updated according to the official information published quarterly by Deutsche Post AG.
