The INSPIRE View Service provides an overview of the potential compaction sensitivity of the floor in 35 cm of reference depth. It is based on the legend units (LE) of the soil overview map (BÜK300) with corresponding allocation of parameterised surface soil shapes. The individual surface soil forms (FBF) were documented with soil physical characteristics, which were determined by ground and laboratory tests. For this purpose, the characteristics of soil type, humus and carbonate content, skeletal content, dry raw density, water content at field capacity and effective rooting depth were statistically derived for the same horizontal-substrate combinations (usually median values). In addition, the following input data were taken into account: Upper edge Gr-Horizonte, soil-based moisture level, climatic water balance. To estimate the potential compression sensitivity (Sm) at 35 cm reference depth, the analysis method 1.1 of the method documentation Soil Science (AG Boden, 2010) was used. This classifies the first compaction behaviour (in the sense of a compaction intensity) of a naturally stored, deposited subsoil based on its physical and hydrological properties and is applicable to both agricultural and forestry soils. The basis of the qualitative evaluation is the basic classification of the potential compression sensitivity per HSK according to the type of soil.
