Profile descriptions of soil science (WMS service)

The soil profiles are recorded as part of the state reception and in project mappings. They are stored in the profile database of the NIBIS. The profiles contain detailed information on the structure of the soil. The profiles contain detailed information on the location and layer structure of the soil. The locations of the drill holes are reproduced in drill point maps. The map server of the LBEG opens an info box with the most important master data of the bore when clicking on a hole. Their detailed information can be retrieved by clicking on the link “further information”. The drill profiles represent the layer and horizontal sequence in graphic and alphanumeric form according to DIN No. 4023. As a textual description, data on the depth of layers and horizons and stratigraphy and petrography are given. The scale of the profile representation is variable. A selection of the most important master data is compiled on the first sheet of the profile presentation.
