WMS service LGB: Proposed areas for the presentation as raw material protection areas in the regional spatial planning plans, based on the prognostic raw material map (as of 1982) and surveys by the LGB in 1995-2010. Categories 1, 2 and 3 were proposed by the LGB to the planning communities as potential priority and reservation areas for inclusion in the Regional Spatial Planning Plans. For better understanding, the category of potential priority areas has been further differentiated, but a rating or gradation is not associated with this categorisation: 1a: Raw material is mined in the area (dedicated building value) 1b: Raw material is mined in at least one sub-area of the area (dedicated building value) and for the rest of the area there is a study of deposits or is likely to be similar or similar to similar deposit-related conditions 1c: Raw material has not been mined so far, but there is a detailed study of the deposits, which proves a building worthiness 1d: Raw materials with special characteristics, in particular uniqueness/rareness with national or national significance, the only deposit of a particular raw material in a wide range, possibility of use for heritage conservation purposes (natural stone). In addition, such areas may be recorded for which there is no direct detailed survey of deposits, but evidence of the excellent quality is available from the precise knowledge of neighbouring deposits. 2: Raw material has not been mined on the surface so far, but due to geological knowledge, a potential building value can be assumed: These specialist planning areas have the quality characteristics of potential priority areas in category 1. However, according to current raw material geological assessment, it is reasonable to exclude extraction activity over the next 10 years following the approval of the plan. These areas correspond to the desire for spatial planning as priority areas for the protection of deposits.
