Protected Sites — INSPIRE View-Service PS (WMS-LfU-PS-Protection)

The interoperable INSPIRE Presentation Service (WMS) Protected Sites (Protection Areas of the State of Brandenburg) contains information on the protected areas under nature protection legislation of the state of Brandenburg and European protected areas. Protected areas under nature protection law of the state of Brandenburg include nature reserves, protected landscape areas, biosphere reserves, nature parks and national parks. The European Natura 2000 conservation area system includes Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and Fauna Florida Habitat (FFH) areas. According to the INSPIRE Data Specification Protected Sites (D2.8.I.9_v3.2), the contents of the protected sites are INSPIRE compliant. The WMS contains the following layers and groups according to the data specification: — All Protected Sites — All of the PS.ProtectedSites Protection Classification layers — All of the PS.ProtectedSites.siteDesignation.designationScheme layers — All of the PS.ProtectedSites.siteDesignation.designation layers It is expressly pointed out that the underlying data are for overview purposes only and are not legally binding. Please note the information in particular on the status in the metadata of the coupled data. Please note that the protected areas are only displayed up to a scale of 1:9.000. The data itself was collected on a scale of 1:10,000. For example, misinterpretations in connection with orthophotos should be excluded, as the data themselves cannot provide a higher accuracy. The WebMapService (WMS) is provided in versions 1.1.1 and 1.3.0.
