Dataset description

The data set was compiled as part of the “Energieatlas Baden-Württemberg”. The installed capacity of existing photovoltaic outdoor installations is shown as the sum of a municipality, district or region in Baden-Württemberg. These are data of the transmission system operators, which are publicly accessible on the www.netztransparenz.de page, data on the population of the National Statistical Office and their own calculations. The open-air installations were identified using the remuneration categories of the EEG (installation from 2004 onwards).
