Dataset description

The percentage changes in the population from 2013 to 2018 are displayed at the level of forecasting areas. The number of inhabitants in Berlin increased by 6.6 % from 2013 to 2018. Population growth of more than 5.5 % recorded 37 forecasting areas, including 7 forecasting areas with at least 10.5 % growth. The forecasting area Buch showed the strongest increase in population at 20.1 %. Only one district (Kreuzberg Ost) recorded a slight decline in population at -1.1 %. All other forecasting areas showed a positive population development.
