RV Southern Upper Rhine (0831) — Regional green trains (8141)

General brief description: For the protection of natural goods, nature-related uses and ecological functions against other uses or land use, the Regional Plans may identify regional green trains in the form of priority and reserve areas. They concretise and complement the nationally important landscape areas close to nature in the open space network. Regional green trains are larger contiguous open spaces for different ecological functions, for natural, sustainable uses or for recreation. In priority areas, they shall be kept free of settlement and other non-functional uses. On the other hand, other land-significant uses or measures must be weighed in reserved areas.
