Dataset description

The slope inclination indicates the inclination in the direction of the strongest slope (exposure). It is calculated on the basis of the respective elevation value of the grid cell and its eight direct neighbors. Here, sinks, low-lying flattening and higher plateaus have small slopes and the slopes between them have increased degrees of inclination.
