Soil Duration Observation in the State of Brandenburg

The present pointshape contains the locations to the measuring points of the Soil Duration Observation Areas in the State of Brandenburg. Soil Duration Observation is an instrument for long-term monitoring changes in the state and functions of the soil in the sense the Bundesbodenschutzgesetz (Bundesbodenschutzgesetz) or other sub-legislative regulations. Soil duration observation is not isolated, but as a central Consider the element of integrated environmental monitoring. Objectives of the soil— permanent observation is both Brandenburg-specific and nationwide a) the recording of the current state of the soils; long-term monitoring of soil changes; and C) the derivation of forecasts for the future development of soils. As material data, in addition to the designation of the soil long-term observation area, also information on the type of use, the main natural unit group, the ground exit rock, the soil type, the soil type of the Top floor as well as the category for their selection.
