As part of the evaluation process, the K-factor is used for the first estimation of the erodibility depending on the type of soil. The K-factor contains soil properties such as permeability, infiltration, granulation, humus content and aggregate stability. The assessment by means of the K-factor provides rough statements regarding the erodibility of the soil. When carrying out the assessment, the soil type of the top floor horizon shall be taken into account. The Eb_Was_Level describes the erodibility of the soil by water. Ground surfaces with strong slope inclinations (=18 %) are awarded a level supplement.
