Dataset description

The data set contains all SPA (Special Protection Area) areas in Saxony. The Special Protection Area is the protected areas designated on the basis of Article 4(1) of the Birds Directive. Together with the protected areas under the Fauna Flora Habitats Directive, the FFH sites, the special bird sanctuaries form the European Natura 2000 protected area network.
