Species Distribution — INSPIRE Download-Service SD (WFS-LfU-ARTEN)

The interoperable INSPIRE download service (WFS) Species Distribution provides an overview of the distribution of species (flora and fauna) in Brandenburg. According to the EU Directive INSPIRE, the data set is available as a grid based on the area-based Lambert Azimutal projection (ETRS89-LAEA grid) with a grid width of 10 km. Species data include amphibians, reptiles, insects (bugs, dragonflies, butterflies), mammals, birds, and other molluscs or molluscs. With regard to the species groups of the flora, information on moss and vascular plants according to FFH attachments and BNatschG is included. According to the INSPIRE data specification Species Distribution (D2.8.III.19_v3.0) the contents are INSPIRE compliant. The WFS includes the FeatureTypes SpeciesDistributionDataSet and SpeciesDistributionUnit. The WebFeatureService (WFS) is provided in versions 1.1.0 and 2.0.0.
